My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I’m Scrabble, and I’m here to tell you that life is way more fun when you’ve got a playful kitten around—especially one like me! I love wrestling and chasing toys, and I’ll happily roughhouse with my sister for as long as she’ll let me. I’m full of kitten energy, curiosity, and silliness, and I’m always ready for the next game.

But once I’ve worn myself out? Oh, I’m absolutely a snuggler. I love curling up for a good cuddle after a big play session. I’m great with kids, love other cats, and I’m even learning that dogs aren’t so scary—sometimes I still hiss to let them know my boundaries, but I’m warming up and getting braver every day.

I’d love a forever home where I can keep growing, playing, and being loved. And if you’re looking for a pair, my sister and I are pretty inseparable—we make an excellent duo!

I’m a whole lot of fun, full of affection, and ready to brighten someone’s home. Don’t pass me up!

My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?

If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org.

Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, you’re welcome to walk in anytime between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Please note that we’re closed for adoptions on Sundays and Mondays

More about this shelter

Pawmetto Lifeline, formerly Project Pet, was founded in 1999. Since the opening of our adoption, medical, and boarding facility in Spring 2012, we have been able to save more than 15,000 companion pets from euthanasia and gave them a new lease on life. We continue to strive toward the goal of a no-kill community and state through adoption, pet retention, rescue partnerships, and medical services.
