My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A volunteer writes:
Simba is a super cute one-year-old tiger tabby whose young life has already been filled with too many changes. Very recently adopted from a friend, Simba was placed in a bathroom to decompress. When his new owner opened the door unexpectedly, the startled boy scratched and bit her leg in fear, leading him to the care center. Initially quite stressed and crying a lot, Simba has since calmed down and is showing his true, wonderful personality.
This friendly, chatty young cat is absolutely beaming when visitors arrive at his door! He's talkative, calls for attention, happily comes into laps and arms, and is curious about exploring beyond his kennel. Simba is never in hiding, shows no fear, and loves to play, play, play with no signs of overstimulation during petting or playtime. He's a fun, engaging little guy who just needs what he's never really had: stability. For now, we recommend a quiet home without young children and a patient adopter who understands that Simba has been through lots of upheaval and difficult times. Give this sweet tiger the calm, consistent home he deserves, and he'll reward you with endless affection, entertainment, and loyal companionship for years to come.

What my friends at ACC say about me:

My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!

It is unknown if I have ever lived with other animals or children.

Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!

I am a cat that is in need of a lap! I can't wait to be your new lap cat.

I am looking for a home with a patient person.

I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.

I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them.
