Skippy is a delightful torbie (gray tabby with orange highlights) female cat about 2-1/2 years old (DOB about 4/1/23). She has big, beautiful green eyes. She is also a tripod missing her right front leg. Her right front leg was broken and atrophied, so it had to be amputated when she was a kitten. Skippy is very sweet and loving. She loves to cuddle with you while watching TV and sleeps with me at night. She is laid back and relaxing and not super active. She currently lives in a multi-cat home, and, unfortunately, she is being picked on by the other cats in the home. The owner has tried anti-anxiety meds and taken her to the vet to ensure that there is not a medical issue involved. The vet is recommending that she be rehomed, since she is being picked on so much, and that she be the only cat. I think she would be ok with older kids, but she has not lived with kids or dogs. She is current of her vaccines (had her exam and vaccinations in early Sept) and weighs around 8 lbs. If interested in Skippy, please contact Holly at 865-671-4564 or hhfrey1@tds.net.
We are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens. The majority of our cats and kittens come from high kill shelters. Through our application and interview process, we strive to make the 'purrfect' match to insure a loving, lifelong home for those in our care. We do NOT receive funding from any national organization, federal or state governments.
