Meet Cleo
Cleo is a 1-year-old, 50-lb sweetheart who has been her mom’s whole world. Unfortunately, an unanticipated move into a home with cats means Cleo now needs a new place to land quickly, as she her prey drive doesn't work with cats.
Cleo does wonderful with other dogs and absolutely loves the dogs in her current home. She would be a great companion for a dog who’s looking for a buddy to play with and share life with.
She is food motivated, which will be a big help with continued training, though she can be a bit picky since some foods upset her tummy. Cleo is naturally protective around new people, so she would do best in a home with low foot traffic and fewer strangers coming and going. She's done well with visiting toddlers and babies.
Loyal, loving, and happiest with her people and canine friends, Cleo is looking for a calm, understanding home where she can settle in and feel secure again.

To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit.
