Ivy is a little acrobat who will wow you with her moves!

Ivy is a graceful and athletic kitty who loves playtime. With her long legs and slight frame, she can reach
unbelievable heights, flying through the air to catch the elusive feather wand. Ivy loves to explore new
places and has no fear of heights or other cats.

Ivy feels bravest in the company of her big brother, Steven. They can often be found curled up together or running laps around the living room. Ivy does not hesitate to challenge Steven to a wrestling match,
despite his size advantage.

Ivy is still learning to tolerate being petted, and may be too nervous for a home with kids or dogs. She must be adopted with Steven and would be fine in a home with other cats.

Must adopt with Steven.

1.
Submit Application

Before submitting an application, we ask that you review the information on cat care and our policies here: https://www.vokra.ca/adopt

2.
Interview

Our adoption counsellors focus on educating our adopters on cat care. Once approved, they use a matching process to find your perfect pet.

3.
Meet the Pet

When you find a kitty you like, you will arrange an appointment with the foster home - where the kitty feels most comfortable and confident.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoptions contract process includes reviewing critical cat care information and providing contacts for post-adoption advice.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Woo hoo! You will be expected to take the kitty to a free post-adoption vet check within 2 weeks, and follow up on any required vet care.

Additional adoption info

Each year more than 1,400 cats and kittens are adopted through VOKRA. We're always here after the adoption if you need ongoing advice.

Response times can vary, depending on the time of year and available volunteer resources. Applications and help requests for non-emergency issues will usually receive a response in 1-3 days.
