Meet Bingo – B-I-N-G-O, and Bingo is ready for love! Personality: Sweet-natured, playful, and always excited to give kisses and soak up attention.Bingo is a beautiful Australian Cattle Dog mix with a heart full of love. She’s lively, fun, and always up for an adventure. Her favorite activities include chasing a ball, playing with her rope toy, and enjoying long walks. Bingo loves to run and would thrive in a home that enjoys daily activities—whether that’s a jog, a hike, or some playtime in the yard. Currently in foster care, she has done wonderfully with the resident cats and has been calm and appropriate around horses. Her foster mom shares that she’s very peaceful in the house and is already crate trained. She’s housebroken, sleeps soundly through the night, and knows “sit” and “stay.” She’ll even wait politely for the “ok” command before beginning her meal. Bingo walks nicely on a leash or harness and is continuing to build great loose-leash skills. She has excellent recall and happily comes when called.Bingo also does well when spending time at home on her own. When outside, she’s generally calm and may occasionally alert bark, then go back to entertaining herself. She would likely enjoy having a canine companion with a proper introduction, but she’s just as content to soak up love as an only dog.In foster care, she has quickly settled into her routines and has shown that she adores people and forms bonds easily. Please contact the shelter to set up your one-on-one meet and greet with Bingo!

More about this shelter
The City of Albuquerque Animal Welfare Department’s mission is to protect and serve the pets and people of Albuquerque by providing Caregiving, Awareness, Resources, Enforcement and Service excellence.
AWD is always in need of foster homes for our pets who need time to grow, recovery from illness or injury or in need of a break from the shelter. Foster homes increase our capacity to provide services to homeless pets in our community. If you would like to donate toys, towels and milk-bones are always in need. Volunteer opportunities are also available at our shelters.
