My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cooper is a one-year-old Goldendoodle weighing 48 pounds, and he’s the perfect mix of sweetness, energy, and playful curiosity. Still very much a young dog, Cooper loves to run, play, and explore the world around him. He enjoys spending time outside, whether that’s chasing toys in the yard or engaging in a quick game of tag with another dog. Cooper is fully house trained and has done a great job keeping his foster home clean, even when given free rein in a gated area overnight.

This friendly boy gets along beautifully with everyone he meets—men, women, children, and dogs of all sizes. He’s especially fond of playing with other dogs and is always ready to make a new friend. His gentle, affectionate personality shines through when he’s around kids, and his foster family describes him as a “very good boy” who just wants to be part of the action.

Cooper does well in the car and enjoys going on little adventures. While he’s still learning his leash manners and isn’t a big fan of wearing one yet, he’s eager to please and will thrive with patient, consistent training. He’s also crate trained, though he needs a bit of encouragement to go inside; once there, he settles down and sleeps through the night.

Because Cooper is still young and full of energy, he would do best in a home with a fenced yard where he can run and play safely. He’ll need a family ready to give him the time, attention, and love he deserves. With a little guidance and a lot of affection, Cooper will make a wonderful lifelong companion for anyone looking for a happy, loyal, and loving dog.

His minimum adoption fee is $400 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
