Meet Rusty Brown! This charming pup is around 2 years old and weighs around 50 lbs. Rusty Brown was rescued from the shelter by an owner who couldn't handle his energy level. He needs walks and to be exercised. His previous owner enrolled him in doggy daycare and training to help, but still couldn't provide him the home he needed. He's got a moderate energy level and is sweet and affectionate. Rusty Brown is believed to be a Cattle dog and Coonhound mix.

He requires regular daily exercise to help with his outlet of energy. He loves a game of fetch and romping around in the yard with other canine friends. He's friendly with new people and kids. He's leash and crate trained. All he wants to do is play and knows basic commands and is highly food motivated. Rusty would do great with an active family looking for a loving pup to join in their fun!

If your adoption application is selected as the best fit to continue in the adoption process, a volunteer will contact you.

Home Check

After reviewing your application and phone interview, we will conduct a home check.

Meet the Pet

The ASR volunteer will help coordinate a play date between you and the foster so you can meet the pet.

We are a 100% volunteer based rescue and due to the large number of adoption applications we receive, we are unable to respond to each individual applicant. If your application is selected to continue in the adoption process, a volunteer will contact you via the phone number provided on your adoption application.
