Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Thunder and his siblings were born on July 13, 2025. Their sweet mom, Rain, came from a local backyard. Luckily she was brought inside before giving birth. Typical kittens, they love playing and climbing. Thunder is a solid black little boy. He is the runt of the litter and took a little extra time to grow and thrive. Once he discovered how “awesome” eating was, he never looked back. Having a companion is always recommended with kittens. It helps both you and them when they have a buddy to wrestle with and pal around with.
Thunder is vaccinated, altered, FeLV/FIV tested negative and microchipped. If you are interested in adopting this pet, you can start the process and access our pre-adoption application which is located on our website at www.startpets.net, click on Pets for Adoption then application; complete the form, and submit/send. We can also be reached at 973-785-1245 or email us at info@startpets.net. All Pets are adopted within a 50 mile radius of Little Falls, NJ. Please remember out of state adoptions require additional time for approval; you must be 21 years or older to adopt; an application does not guarantee an adoption; not all animals on our website come to all adoption days.

More about this rescue
Save The Animals Rescue Team, (S.T.A.R.T.) is a non-profit humane organization, founded by Annette Lamberti, that rescues stray, abandoned, injured, and abused kittens & cats. The animals rescued are examined by a veterinarian, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and placed in one of our volunteer foster homes. Since S.T.A.R.T. does not have a shelter facility, these animals remain in our foster care until they are adopted. So many of these unfortunate animals are victims of pet overpopulation, therefore, this life-saving work is critical!!
It is our mission to prevent cruelty, promote spay/neuter, and to encourage awareness through education, while also teaching respect for all animals and the environment they live in. S.T.A.R.T. is a 501 (c)(3) private non-profit organization relying on and supported by tax-deductible donations, grants and group fund raising.
