My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mischa appears to be a shepherd husky mix but in a pint sized body! She only weighs 30lbs and she is about 7 years old. Mischa is incredibly sweet and loves attention. She is very playful and gets along well with other dogs. Mischa does well with children but can be rambunctious so she may accidentally knock smaller children down. Mischa is a love bug with lots of smiles and tail wags she can’t wait for her forever home!

More about this rescue

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, foster-based and volunteer-run rescue, with a small sanctuary space for senior dogs who are unadoptable or in need of lifelong hospice care. Whether they’re with us for a short stay or for the rest of their lives, they are family.

We specialize in saving senior dogs who are often the first to be passed over and the last to be helped. Our dogs come from:

Scary, overcrowded shelters where they’re at high risk of euthanasia
Homes where their owners have passed away or entered long-term care
Situations of neglect, abandonment, or urgent need

They may come to us broken, scared, or sick—but they leave knowing love, safety, and peace.
