Meet the Pet
Socks is 9 months old and weighs 40 pounds and we were told he is a Husky/Shepherd mix. He has a wonderful, gentle temperament even though he is a little shy on first meeting. He is great with other dogs and loves to play with them. We are working with him a a leash and he is picking it up pretty quickly and he will need house training in his new home. He is very smart and picks up new things pretty quickly. He can get over a chain link fence so he needs supervision in the yard or a privacy fence. As long as you are with him or he has other dogs to play with, we have no issues here. After time and training and learning his home, this will calm down. He likes water, toys and is good with car rides. He has also been around children with no issues. He should do well with most any active family. Socks is neutered, microchipped and current on shots and preventions. If you are interested in adopting, please submit our application at Richardsonrescue.org.
