She’s a happy, easygoing girl who loves being around people and thinks every hand she meets was made for petting her.Her foster calls her “the entertainer” — when Maple gets really excited, she’ll toss her toys (or sometimes her entire blanket) in the air and pounce on them like she’s in her own little comedy show. She keeps herself amused and keeps everyone else laughing.When she’s not clowning around, Maple is all about routine. She enjoys her two walks a day, naps in her bed, and shadowing her humans around the house to make sure she doesn’t miss anything important — like snacks. She’s fully house-trained, well-behaved on walks, and great in the car.Maple is smart, food-motivated, and quick to pick up new cues. She’s friendly with people, polite with dogs, and might even get along with a calm cat. Our priority is to ensure the fit is right for both you and the dog, we will reach out to your personal and veterinarian references (if applicable), and your landlord (if applicable). A virtual video or pictures of your place are required at the time of application.
You will then be granted a private meet and greet with the dog. If after the meet and greet, you would like to proceed with adoption, we will review your application internally and with the foster and make a final decision.

None of our dogs are boarded in kennels upon arrival.
We are dedicated in rescuing dogs from the Caribbean, Mexico and North America as well as local surrenders.
We place dogs in loving, responsible and committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process.
Animals in our care are spayed or neutered, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes.
We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement
