At just 2 years old and a dainty 9 pounds, Faye is the definition of pure sweetness wrapped in a chihuahua-sized package. This little mama has raised her babies with all the love in the world, and now it’s her turn to finally be the cherished one.
Faye is the kind of pup who melts—yes, literally melts—into your hands when you pet her. One gentle touch and she turns into warm, snuggly pudding. She’s piddle pad trained, great with other dogs, and has perfected the ancient chi art of “looking adorable at all times.”
And privacy? Yeah… about that. Faye believes privacy is a myth created by humans who haven’t experienced true love yet. She’s a professional Shadow Dog™ — wherever you go, she goes, right behind you, like your fluffy emotional support fairy. Bathroom trips? Meetings? Midnight fridge raids? Don’t worry, she’s on duty.
Because she bonds deeply and adores being close to her person, Faye would do best in a home where someone is retired, works from home, or just wants a constant companion who thinks they hung the moon.

Hay Dude Equine Rescue, in Boerne, TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs, are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each pup comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, microchipped, heartworm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.
Hay Dude Equine Rescue, in Boerne, TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs, are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. The purpose and objective of our organization is to perform the following educational and charitable activities, as well as providing both shelter services to equines, and rehabilitation to abused, neglected or abandoned horses:
(1) promote and educate the public on horse slaughter and equine abuse
(2) Rescue, retrain and rehome slaughter bound, abused, or neglected horses
(3) educate the public on proper horse care and husbandry
(4) offer assistance to equine owners in times of natural or personal disaster
(5) rehabilitate neglected and abused equines
(6) accept donations of rehomeable equines for adoption and placement
(7) adopt equines into thoroughly vetted homes
