Meet Dart! A sweet 19lb, 4½-month-old puppy with a gentle heart and a curious spirit. At first, Dart can be a little shy as he takes in the world around him—but give him just a moment, and you’ll see his short tail start to wag and his personality shine. Once he warms up, Dart becomes a total cuddle buddy who loves human affection and happily leans in for pets and snuggles. He’s also tolerant of bath time for a youngster—no fuss, just soft eyes and a few licks. Still learning the ways of dog life, Dart is figuring out new sights, sounds, and social cues every day. He’s observant, sensitive, and eager to understand what’s expected of him. With patience, positive experiences, and lots of love, he’ll grow into a confident, loyal companion. Our adoption fee is $150.00 for dogs, $75 for kittens under 6 months of age and $50 for all cats 6 months and older. This will include a rabies vaccination (if age appropriate), spay or neuter, a microchip with registration, and all other age appropriate vaccinations.

We are the all admittance shelter in Johnson County, we are not a 501c3, but a county run facility. We try our best to place each and every animal. We also house all animals picked up by Animal Control therefore; we intake a high volume of animals each year.
