My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucerne, known as Horseradish at the San Diego Humane Society, was found as a stray, and sadly no one came for him. We welcomed this little guy as a Frosted Face on November 17th. Lucerne is estimated to be 15 years old, weighs 7 lbs., and is very sweet.

Lucerne went on a two-week Frosted Fling, so we could learn more about him in a home setting. His Fling Mom shared this great report about their time together:

"Lucerne is the sweetest boy and loves to be covered with blankets. His daily routine consisted of napping, potty time, and eating. He has a big appetite and loves to eat!

Lucerne had no issue meeting new people and animals. He didn’t mind our three cats but would get annoyed if they got in his face, especially while sleeping. After the first week, we really saw his little personality emerge. We took him on small walks and one hike, and he did great for short distances."

Lucerne is currently on a second Fling while he waits for a forever home. Might that be with you?
