Forever Home Wanted: Meet Honey Bee — our little miracle pup!
At just a year old, Honey Bee entered the shelter system favoring her front right leg. She was placed on the rescue-only list, and that’s when we stepped in — not knowing her story was far more heartbreaking than it looked.
What we thought was a minor injury turned out to be a major trauma. Honey Bee had been shot with a pellet gun more than ten times. One pellet fractured her elbow, requiring surgical repair. We got her into our vet immediately, and this brave little girl handled everything like the fighter she is.
Even after everything she’s endured, Honey Bee is pure joy. She’s wiggly, sweet, social, loves meeting new people, handing out kisses, and soaking up time with her foster family. She’s currently on crate rest (and will be for a bit), but she’s taking recovery in stride and would absolutely love a forever family cheering her on through the rest of her healing journey.
