My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Foster or forever home wanted, meet Leia! When we saw Leia on the 72 hour euthanasia list at just barely 6 months old our hearts broke and we knew we had to do something. Once we read her paperwork, it became even clearer she really needed someone to step up to see to it she finally finds her forever home.

Leia first entered the Palmdale shelter on August 12, as a 9-week-old puppy, surrendered by her owner. She was very quickly adopted on August 14. Fast forward to December 14, Leia was picked up as a stray and once again landed at the Palmdale shelter. Since she was microchipped when she was adopted, they reached out to the adopters and followed up with a letter to their last known address. No one came to pick her up.

Leia is a gorgeous pup and received the highest possible behavior score at the shelter. We really don't have too much information on her since she's new to the rescue. As we get to know her more we'll update her bio. If you are interested in meeting Leia, please go to labradorsandfriends.org to fill out an application. Leia is located in Southern California.
