Meet Archie, a 5-year-old terrier mix weighing just 6 pounds, with the sweetest temperament and a big love for cuddles.

Archie is good on the leash and enjoys going for walks in his winter jacket. He loves people and has a calm, relaxed demeanor. If you pause your pets too soon, he’ll gently place a paw on you to let you know he’d like more.

He’s also crate-trained and settling into home life beautifully. Loving, gentle, and eager for affection, Archie is ready to find a forever home where he can feel safe, cozy, and adored.

The best way to meet our pups is via private meetings or at adoption events. We host these weekly at various locations around NYC.

Our adoption fee ranges from $275-$550 and covers the costs of vetting, boarding, transportation, and other necessary items for our dogs.

Hearts & Bones Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based rescue with dual bases in New York City, NY and Dallas, TX. We are dedicated to ending the needless euthanasia of shelter dogs through direct lifesaving, shared learning, and community building. Our incredible network of rescue partners, fosters, volunteers, and a small but mighty staff work together to save dogs in the areas where shelters are under the greatest stress, and unite them with loving adopters ready to give them the lives they deserve.
