My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cody – A Gentle Soul Looking for His Forever Home

Cody is a 4–5-year-old male Treeing Walker Coonhound with a stunning dusty-colored coat and distinctive markings that might remind you of a Harrier. With his handsome, boxy build and unique look, he’s the type of dog who will effortlessly catch the eye of everyone he passes. At about 70 lbs, he’s a large boy—but calm, easy to manage, and wonderfully chill.

Cody is both people- and dog-friendly, making him an easy fit for many households. He has a sweet, gentle soul and enjoys simply being part of the day-to-day activities around him. At SWD, he happily watches the world go by from his favorite corner “post,” taking in the happenings with quiet curiosity.

If you’re looking for a steady, affectionate companion who brings peace and warmth wherever he goes, Cody might just be your perfect match. Come meet this incredible boy and let him charm his way into your heart.
