My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What my friends at ACC say about me:

I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.

I prefer to call the shots and enjoy coming to you when I'm ready for pets.

I have lived with dogs in my previous home.

I am playful and cute!

A volunteer writes: Comet knows it's so important to show your friends you care, which is why she was always comforting her previous guardian whenever they felt sad. If she could only find someone to comfort her. Admittedly Comet doesn't always know how to put herself out there to tell us what she'd like. In a sea of sparkly kittens with kneading paws and happy purrs, it could potentially put dear Comet at a disadvantage but since we certainly don't want that to happen, please let me share with you what we know about this wonderful cat. Firstly, Comet really needs a chance. Snuggled up in the back of her cubby, things were a little different in her home before where she was affectionate and playful, chasing after bugs and joyfully playing with her water. She's hoping to find a family who will welcome her, so please come and give her a little chance.
