Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Cash 🎶🐾
Cash is a big, handsome guy with a heart just as bold as his name. Friendly, affectionate, and full of personality, he loves spending time with his people and is always up for playtime or a good cuddle. He’s a smart boy who knows his commands, showing off both his brains and his eagerness to please.
Cash does best in an active, playful home where he can burn off energy and enjoy life to the fullest. He’s great with kids, making him a wonderful family companion. While he can be a bit selective with other dogs, he thrives with proper introductions. He is not a fan of cats, so a cat-free home is a must.
True to his name, Cash has a presence you can’t ignore—cool, confident, and loyal, like the Man in Black himself. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will walk the line right into your heart, Cash is ready to meet you 🖤🎸

The AWL is here to find the best match possible between adopters and the animals in our care. Keep in mind that a pet’s personality is way more important, and it’s best to try to find a pet that will fit into your lifestyle.

More about this shelter
The Animal Welfare League is a non-profit organization committed to advocating for animal protection and welfare. We are based in Port Charlotte, Florida. Since 1963 our shelter has served the Charlotte County community by providing a temporary home, medical service and caring attention for many dogs, cats and other animals. These animals come to us as strays, pets given up by their owners, unfortunate animals rescued from abuse and neglect, or simply lost pets in need of being re-united with their families.
