Hi i am Custard, and I am a10-pound beagle mix looking for my forever family. I was born around 9/1
My foster family loves to brag about me and they’ve outlined some of my star qualities:
Adventure ready. Full-speed zoomies, playful pounces, and little tumble-rolls are basically my cardio. Toys, crinkly things, or even just your feet—I think everything is a fun new game.
Gentle, snuggly, and sweet. Even though I’m full of puppy energy, I’m also a little cuddle bug. I love curling up on laps, nuzzling close for belly rubs, and drifting off to sleep beside you. Treats are my favorite… and I take them like a polite little princess.
Quiet and easygoing in my space. I’m calm in my pen and will probably take to crate training quickly. I’m learning potty training, and I’m eager to do my best!
Your new best friend. My favorite hobby is snuggling. I want to be your best friend—the kind who follows you around, gazes at you adoringly, and tries to sit on your feet even when I’m bigger than you expected.
I’m the whole sundae—sweet, gentle, playful, and ready to love you.

Your application will be reviewed by our team and if it is a good fit, we will send to the foster family to set up a meet!
The adoption fee of $550 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed!
*please note that we are a foster home based rescue and we do home visits as part of the adoption process - we are unable to adopt to families who live outside of the Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Thank you for your understanding.
