Delilah — A Tender Heart Who’s Been Waiting Too Long

Hi… I’m Delilah.
I’m a sweet, thoughtful girl who just wants someone to love. I may take a little time to warm up, but once I realize I’m safe, my whole heart opens. I’ll come find you for gentle pets, sit nearby to keep you company, and quietly ask for affection with soft eyes and slow blinks. I’m one of those cats who forms a deep, meaningful bond — it just takes me a moment to be sure you’re my person.

I’ve been waiting a long time now. Long enough to wonder when it will finally be my turn.

I was rescued in partnership with ACT after being found with my kittens. I raised them with everything I had, and they were all adopted into wonderful homes. I’m so happy for them… but it’s been months, and I’m still here, still hoping someone will notice me and give me a chance.

I could happily be your only cat or go home with another mellow feline friend. What I want most is a family who will let me settle in at my own pace and discover how loving and connected I can be.

The holidays are coming, and I would love — more than anything — to finally spend them in a forever home of my own.
