My Journey I’m a 3-month-old black kitten who came to Smittens with my brother. Along the way, I’ve also made other foster friends as I continue learning what indoor life is all about. I’m still growing and gaining confidence, and I’m excited to find a loving forever home where I can truly settle in.
My Social Life Other cats: I enjoy the company of other cats and kittens and do best with a playful feline friend. Dogs: I haven’t met dogs yet and would likely do best with calm, gentle introductions. Kids: I’d do best with older, gentle mini humans, as loud noises can startle me.
My Personality Sweet, gentle, and a little shy at first. Loud noises can startle me, so I need time to feel safe—but once I do, my playful and curious side shines. I love exploring my space and especially enjoy climbing high to find the best lookout spots in the room.
I Enjoy… Climbing and perching up high to survey my surroundings Chasing puff balls, jingle balls, and running through tunnels Exploring during playtime Cozy naps in the softest bed I can find Affection and cuddles once I’m comfortable
I’m Not a Fan Of… Loud noises or sudden movements Being rushed before I’m ready Very busy or chaotic environments
What Makes Me Special I’m a beautiful black kitten with a gentle heart and a love for climbing. Watching me grow from a shy little explorer into a confident, affectionate companion is something truly special.
My Perfect Home I’m looking for a calm, loving home that appreciates a shy girl who loves to climb, play, and purr once she’s cuddled. Since I’m a playful kitten who needs company, I must be adopted into a home with another playful young cat or adopted as part of a pair with an age-appropriate kitten.

Smittens isn’t just another cat rescue.
We are a coalition of volunteers with a spay/neuter mission, dedicated to helping both stray and owned animals in the greater San Diego area get fixed, receive veterinary care, and whatever else they may need! Smittens works with shelters and other rescues to route cats to proper vet care and eventual homes, and we take in stray cats who need help getting off the street. We also support TNR for feral cats, and assist cat and dog owners to get their own pets fixed and vaccinated at a low cost.
