This handsome 8-month-old Cane Corso puppy is as special as the constellation he's named after! And in a short time, he has already shown just how resilient and special he is! When he first came into our care, he curled himself up in the corner of the room, scared and unsure of the world around him. Orion has been in a professional training program for 2 months thanks to a generous donor. In this program and thanks to the patients, consistency, and kindness of his trainer, he has learned that the world is not so scary and that people can be safe and life can be more than just survival.
True to his Cane Corso nature, he is still a bit aloof around strangers, but that’s completely expected for the breed and his past. Once he feels secure, his gentle and curious personality begins to shine through.
He will thrive with an experienced, calm adopter who understands guardian breeds and is willing to continue building his confidence at his pace. In the right home, this loyal boy has the potential to become a deeply devoted companion who bonds strongly with his people and rewards patience with trust and quiet affection.
