Meet Jerry
Jerry is a friendly, sweet 7 year old miniature poodle thriving in foster care. At 17 pounds, he is a perfect travel size, affectionate companion.
Jerry has shown himself to be calm, social, and happy to engage with people. He enjoys walks and indoor relaxation alike, adjusting well to daily routines. Jerry has early-stage mitral valve disease (ACVIM Stage B1) and mild pulmonary hypertension, which are currently stable and asymptomatic. He does not need any medication at this time, but his future family must schedule yearly echocardiograms to ensure his heart remains stable. With regular check-ups and moderate exercise, he can enjoy a normal, active lifestyle.
Jerry is a superstar, having recently participated in the Guinness World Record challenge for the largest pack walk on September 5th, 2024. He is looking for a loving home that can provide consistency, affection, and gentle care.
Jerry’s adoption fee is $300. To learn more about Jerry’s rescue story, click here.
You don’t have to wait for an adoption event. In-person meet-and-greets are available in the NYC area, with virtual meet-and-greets available for adopters outside NYC.
