Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Honey is truly one of a kind and a chip off the old block just like her wonderful mother, Marlee Mae. This beautiful girl is the ultimate lover with a pure heart of gold, possessing a gaze so sweet it will melt your heart in an instant. Honey has so many amazing qualities, but her standout trait is her incredibly laid-back and mellow personality. She prefers to enjoy life at a slower, more peaceful pace and is the definition of "chill." She is a friend to absolutely everyone, doing wonderful with children of all ages, other dogs, and even cats. Honey is an easy-going companion who travels well in the car, doesn’t mind bath time, and goes straight into her kennel without a fuss. In fact, she is such a heavy sleeper that she could probably sleep through a hurricane! If you are looking for a guard dog, Honey is definitely not your girl—she would likely sleep through the whole ordeal and wake up confused about what year it is. Honey is simply enjoying life and is more than ready to break free from the shelter lifestyle to find her forever family. She is fully vetted and ready to go home today. To make this sweetheart a part of your life.If you would be interested in giving me a furever home, please contact The Humane Society of Adams County, Inc. at (937) 544-8585 to set up a time to come meet me and fill out an adoption application!

Our adoption process is made up of two parts. Upon a decision to adopt an animal we require an application for adoption that asks questions such as housing and veterinary references. We then check references and may require a home visit. Upon approval you will fill out a contract for adoption and pay the adoption fees. Adoption fees are based on age and vetting required.
