My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Peach is one of those dogs who greets life with a gentle excitement and a whole-body wag. She loves people, so much so that she lights up the moment someone gives her attention. She’s had positive interactions with kids and would thrive in a home that enjoys a friendly, affectionate dog who just wants to be included.

Peach isn’t a match for every dog and would do best as either an only dog or with slow, careful introductions to the right canine friend. What she is perfect for is someone wanting a loyal companion who will happily go for walks, cuddle on the couch, and brighten everyday moments.

She’s sweet. She’s joyful. She’s ready to love someone with her whole heart.

If you’re looking for a dog whose personality is truly as lovely as her name, Peach is waiting to meet you. 🍑🐾

More about this shelter

Pauls Valley Animal Welfare Society a 501c3 was formed to improve the problems of disease, overpopulation & abandonment of stray animals in Garvin County.
Our organization is made up of over 300 members who care about animals. It is an eclectic group varying in race, age, economic and professional levels and religious affiliations. We are, however, single-minded when confronting our community problems of animal cruelty and neglect, overpopulation and the humane treatment in which our strays and homeless dogs and cats are housed. Our goal is to relieve their suffering, do everything in our power to find them homes and provide a decent animal shelter for Garvin County.
