My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Champagne may not fully understand what happened or why he’s here—but one thing is clear: this sweet boy just wants to be loved. 💔❤️ Owner-surrendered and a little confused by the change, Champagne is still learning that people can be kind and that good things are coming his way again.

He’s a gentle soul who can be won over with patience, leash walks, and—of course—treats. Once he starts to trust, you can see it in his eyes: he wants connection, comfort, and a place where he belongs. People already love him… now he just needs to feel that love for himself.

Champagne is ready for his redemption story. Ready to leave the shelter behind. Ready to find the home he’s been craving all along. If you’ve got room in your heart and your home, Champagne is waiting. 🥂

More about this shelter

Pauls Valley Animal Welfare Society a 501c3 was formed to improve the problems of disease, overpopulation & abandonment of stray animals in Garvin County.
Our organization is made up of over 300 members who care about animals. It is an eclectic group varying in race, age, economic and professional levels and religious affiliations. We are, however, single-minded when confronting our community problems of animal cruelty and neglect, overpopulation and the humane treatment in which our strays and homeless dogs and cats are housed. Our goal is to relieve their suffering, do everything in our power to find them homes and provide a decent animal shelter for Garvin County.
