My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sunday - BIG personality in a small package.

Look up the definition of "spunky" in the dictionary - you will find a photo of Sunday. This terrier mix is full of cheeky charm, bold curiosity, and an irresistible "let me see that!" attitude. Sunday loves investigating every new sight and sound, trotting along with his humans, being nosey about what they're doing and where they're going, and makes his own fun around whatever is happening.

He's playful, clever, and always ready to entertain with antics, hijinks and shenanigans. Sunday is basically right out of a cartoon, and if you're looking for a loyal companion that's going to follow you around wherever you go and get into everything you're doing, this might be the perfect fit for you. Come meet this lovable little firecracker!

More about this shelter

Founded in 1941 by the third female graduate from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, SAVE is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit animal shelter dedicated to protecting the health and welfare of homeless companion animals in the greater Princeton area and beyond. Through six core programs of Rescue, Shelter, Health and Welfare, Spay/Neuter, Foster and Adoption.

The SAVE shelter facility has the capacity to house upwards of 100 animals at a time (approximately 75 cats and 25 dogs). The shelter exceeds no-kill benchmark standards and ensures that adoptable animals facing adversity are given a lifeline, a chance to flourish, and the promise of a better tomorrow.
