My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet RUBY SUE!

RUBY is a lively 4-month-old sweetheart with a whole lot of sparkle in her step! This girl is full of playful energy and absolutely adores her toys especially anything she can chase. Fetch is her love language, and she’ll happily entertain herself, but her favorite thing in the world is getting your attention.

RUBY is a social butterfly who does great with people of all ages. She can get a little bouncy around young kids, but she responds quickly to redirection and is showing just how trainable she is. She already knows some basic commands and beams with pride when she gets it right (especially if treats are involved).

During the day, she loves to romp and play… and once the fun winds down, she’s happiest cuddled up with her doggy buddy at night. RUBY is also a total water baby she LOVES splashing in the pool and will jump right in if you let her. The best part? She’s not a big barker at all.

If you’re looking for a smart, affectionate pup who brings joy and enthusiasm everywhere she goes, RUBY might just be your girl.

More about this rescue

A Lab for Life (ALL) provides a compassionate life-line to abandoned dogs that includes a safe haven, medical care by a licensed veterinarian, nutrition (food) and a fur-ever family through adoption. ALL promotes the humane treatment of animals in the community.

ALL was founded in July 2020 by a group of dog advocates in central Oklahoma and
Northeastern US after some had been volunteering with an out of state rescue for over 5 years. That experience solidified a local organization was needed. ALL formed to rescue as many stray, homeless and owner surrendered dogs as possible by partnering with many state-wide shelters and rescue operations. In addition to transferring homeless dogs from the shelters, fostering them in temporary homes and adopting them out, we also provide behavioral and medical resources to people who are considering surrendering their dog in an effort to keep the dog in their homes and out of the shelter/rescue system.
ALL operates under the 5 freedoms for animal welfare.
We are a brand new organization and welcome donations!
