My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet HUNTER!

HUNTER is a handsome 4-month-old heartthrob who’s equal parts playful and snuggly. This sweet boy has the looks, the charm, and the personality to match he loves to play, but at his core, he’s a total lover.

HUNTER gets along wonderfully with everyone he meets. Like most puppies his age, he can get a little excited around small children, but he listens well and is eager to follow your lead. He already knows some basic commands and is extremely food-motivated, proudly waiting for his treat the moment he finishes a task like the good boy he is.

He spends his days wrestling and running around with his doggy playmate and winds down by curling up for nighttime cuddles. HUNTER is also a big fan of water put him near a pool and he’ll happily splash the day away.

With his gentle nature, eager-to-please attitude, and affectionate spirit, HUNTER is ready to be someone’s very best friend. He’s the perfect mix of fun, sweetness, and puppy charm.

More about this rescue

A Lab for Life (ALL) provides a compassionate life-line to abandoned dogs that includes a safe haven, medical care by a licensed veterinarian, nutrition (food) and a fur-ever family through adoption. ALL promotes the humane treatment of animals in the community.

ALL was founded in July 2020 by a group of dog advocates in central Oklahoma and
Northeastern US after some had been volunteering with an out of state rescue for over 5 years. That experience solidified a local organization was needed. ALL formed to rescue as many stray, homeless and owner surrendered dogs as possible by partnering with many state-wide shelters and rescue operations. In addition to transferring homeless dogs from the shelters, fostering them in temporary homes and adopting them out, we also provide behavioral and medical resources to people who are considering surrendering their dog in an effort to keep the dog in their homes and out of the shelter/rescue system.
ALL operates under the 5 freedoms for animal welfare.
We are a brand new organization and welcome donations!
