My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Luna Lunark ACCT-A-233661 is currently considered urgent and at risk of euthanasia due to length of stay and lack of space for incoming dogs. Luna Lunark must have confirmed placement with a RESCUE PARTNER, FOSTER, or ADOPTER by Sunday, December 21st, 2025 at 10AM. Should Luna Lunark’s medical or behavioral status change, her urgency and timeline for placement may also change.

Meet Luna Lunark—a young, super cute bundle of joy who’s ready to light up your life!

Luna is the definition of happy, wiggly, puppy energy. She’s sweet, silly, and full of enthusiasm, always excited to get out for a walk or run around and play. Volunteers describe her as goofy and bouncy, with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She loves attention, happily solicits pets and snuggles, and is always eager to be everyone’s best friend—especially yours.

This smart girl is treat-motivated and already knows cues like sit, wait, and paw, and she prefers soft treats. She enjoys being active, loves to run, and would thrive with an adopter or family who can keep up with her playful spirit and help her burn off some energy. Luna can be jumpy when she’s excited (it’s hard to contain that much happiness!), but she’s not difficult to manage and continues to improve on leash. She’s curious about the world and especially interested in other dogs—she’s done well with playful pups who match her energy and shows loose, wiggly, social body language during dog meets.

Luna has also spent a short time in a home, where she was very sweet and did well overall. She’s still working on house training and may have accidents as she continues to learn, so patience and consistency will be key. She is crate trained and settles well with guidance.

Whether she’s hopping along on a walk, leaning in for affection, or zooming around the yard, Luna Lunark is pure sunshine in dog form. She would be an amazing match for an active home ready for a fun, loving, young dog who’s eager to learn, play, and be part of the family. If you’re looking for a sweet, energetic companion to grow with, Luna just might be your perfect match
