Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Millie — a gentle, easygoing, and wonderfully adaptable companion.
Millie is house-trained, calm in the home, and exceptionally gentle. She does beautifully with other dogs and is currently living with four (two small, two large). She also does very well with children; she lives alongside our three kids (ages 12–17) and has interacted comfortably with younger children as well.
Millie is thoughtful in her interactions and naturally adjusts her play style with smaller dogs, showing great awareness and care. She learns quickly and enjoys connection. When she first arrived, she was unfamiliar with leash walking and recall and has made good progress in both areas.
Millie is ready for a family who will appreciate her gentle nature and eagerness to learn.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilcotx.gov.
In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.
Interested in fostering a dog in need? Join our foster team at www.wilcotx.gov/390/Fostering and click on `Foster Questionnaire.`
Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.
We always welcome your dogs to come and meet our dogs, too! We`ll see you soon at either location!
