This adorable boxer mix is ready to slide his way right into your heart. Penguin isn’t your typical wild puppy — he’s incredibly gentle, sweet-natured, and somehow already knows exactly when it’s time to play and when it’s time to cuddle up.

Penguin loves other dogs and even adjusts his play style to match pups his size or smaller. He’s the kind of puppy who makes friends everywhere he goes. 🩵🐾

Penguin and his siblings were found running around a construction site, scared and unsure of the world. Now that he’s safe, he’s learning just how good life can be — and he’s so ready for a family who will show him love, consistency, and all the soft blankets.

We are located at 1740 W. Gordon Street, Valdosta GA 31601. We are right down the road from Ellianos in Remerton. We invite you to come see our cats at our office, Monday through Friday, 9am to 2pm. Call 229-247-3266 to confirm.

More about this rescue

The HSVLC is a non-profit organization that only rescues animals based on available foster homes and funding. All of our dogs and some of our cats live in foster homes. Loving families have taken them in and are caring for them until they find their furrever home. We also house many of our cats at our office location. We have four cage free rooms dedicated to housing our resident cats. You can stop by our office during business hours to visit our residents or contact us in advance to schedule a visit with one of our fosters.
