Surry is a fun-loving, affectionate pup who’s sure to bring endless joy to your life! With her playful spirit and sweet personality, she’s the perfect companion for anyone looking for a dog who loves people, other dogs, and just having a good time.
Surry has a heart full of love—she adores snuggling up in your lap, giving hugs, and basking in the warm sunshine. She’s also a fan of zooming around the yard, running laps with pure excitement! When she’s not playing, you’ll often find her relaxing in the sun, soaking up some rays and looking as beautiful as ever with her striking golden eyes.
She’s eager to please and thrives on positive interaction, making her a joy to be around. Although she walks on a leash, Surry is still learning the ropes and could use a little help refining her leash manners. But with her eagerness to learn, it won’t take long for her to pick up on the proper etiquette.
If you’re looking for a dog with a fun, loving personality who will be your loyal, happy companion, Surry is the one for you! She’s sure to fill your days with laughter, love, and lots of playful moments. Whoever adopts her will be one very lucky person—she’s ready to bring her sunshine into your life!

All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccines, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member.
If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, please complete an Adoption Application at our website: savinggracenc.org
Sending an Application does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. Please review our Adoption Contract before sending an Application to ensure that you will be able to provide the requirements stated in the contract. The Contract must be signed at the time of adoption.
Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.

More about this rescue
Located in central North Carolina and officially established in 2004, Saving Grace has placed over 15,000 dogs into homes since its inception. These dogs were from rural animal control facilities with little resources and who would otherwise not had the opportunity to receive necessary veterinary care and a chance at adoption. While we have grown significantly over the years and have been successful growing our numbers we still see many great dogs miss the opportunity of adoption.
We have a large variety of dogs varying in breed, size, shape, age and needs and would love to work with you to find you a great dog companion while providing a dog in need with a loving home. Our dogs are chosen based on temperament and socialization. We get some of the most charming, unique mix breeds as well as some striking purebreds. Our dogs come from rural, underserved areas and while they may have little experience as an indoor family member, they have the temperament and personality that is sure to bring much love and appreciation to their new home. Most have started their crate training while in our program. Veterinary care including spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test, vaccinations, monthly preventatives are provided prior to each adoption. If you would like more information about adopting one of our dogs, please email savinggrace@savinggracenc.org
