My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

3 month old female

Mother was ACD/Border Collie
Father- I would love to know!

Ready for Christmas! Fun loving, lovable, rambunctious, cute little girl. Jordie loves to romp with everyone! Two legged or 4 legged, it doesn’t matter. She has been well socialized with people of all ages. She will wrestle with her siblings but is respectful of older dogs. Cats can be fun to chase but she quickly backs down when they object! She has no fear of anything! Apparently she doesn’t understand a 1000 pound horse is much bigger than she is! But after 15 or 20 minutes of being the Tasmanian Devil, she’s done, ready for snuggles & a nap. Will sleep quietly all night in a crate.

Jordie is current on age appropriate vaccines, heartworm prevention, flea & tick prevention & has been wormed every two weeks. She is fostered in Salem Ohio thru ACDRA. To find out more about Jordie, email Janemalmsberry@aol.com or fill out an application at ACDRA.org

More about this rescue

We are an all volunteer group that rescues Australian Cattle Dogs. Our dogs reside in foster homes until they are adopted
Every year, thousands of Australian Cattle Dogs find themselves homeless through no fault of their own. Although the reasons are diverse, the result is the same. Healthy, adoptable dogs face euthanasia in shelters.

The Australian Cattle Dog Rescue Association rescues ACDs in shelters from Maine to Georgia and gives these dogs a fresh start with a loving family. Our foster home volunteers welcome the dogs into their homes where they live as members of the family. During the time in foster care, our volunteers determine what kind of forever home will be the right one for each dog.
