My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sailor!

This gorgeous dobie pup recently came to AFRP with a heartbreaking story. Sailor was found emaciated and tied to a fence, in desperate need of help. Now, she's on the road to a fulfilling life but she's looking for a furever family!

Sailor is your typical pup, and would love to find a cozy home to spend her holidays in! She's still young, so she's looking for an active home and would likely do just fine with another playful pup. At this time, it's currently unknown how she may do with cats. Sailor would love to find experienced adult adopters, but may do well with families who have dog-savvy children over the age of ten at this time.

Sailor will require pre-registration to general obedience classes with proof sent to AFRP prior to adoption.

Sailor is also seeking a foster home! If you're a current foster with AFRP and interested in helping Sailor, please contact our Operations Manager! If you're not a foster, but would still like to help this sweet girl by fostering or adopting, please visit our website today at www.animalfriendsrescue.org to complete our online adoption or foster application!

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees help to cover the cost of the care the animal has received during their time with us, including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchipping, deworming, and flea treatment and basic foster care.

All potential adopters complete an application and are screened using a standardized series of questions by a trained adoption counselor. If the application and screening are satisfactory, a qualified adopter can complete a contract, pay the adoption fee and take the animal home.
