Meet Celeste – A Gentle, Shy Catahoula Puppy Looking for a Place to Bloom

Celeste is a stunning 7–8-month-old Catahoula Leopard Dog mix with soft merle markings and the sweetest, most soulful eyes. Weighing around 40–45 pounds, she’s the perfect medium-size pup — still young, still learning, and full of potential.

Celeste is incredibly sweet, gentle, and submissive, but shelter life has been overwhelming for her. This old, loud environment is scary, and she isn’t quite sure what to make of it all. She approaches the world with caution right now, but when she realizes she’s safe, you see her whole body relax into the softest, most trusting sweetness.

With kindness, patience, and a calm home, Celeste will blossom into the loving, loyal companion she’s meant to be. She just needs someone willing to show her that the world isn’t as frightening as it feels inside a shelter.
