Gender: Mare
Age: 5 years old
Breed: Quarter horse
Height: 15hh
Adoption Fee: $500
Location: Hempstead
Adopter experience needed: Advanced
Training level: Halter Broke. Lunging with tack. Not broke to ride.
Current assessment and personality: Esmerelda is a sweet young mare with an easy going personality. She was adopted from us 2 years ago and has recently come back to us. The past 2 years she was mostly a companion horse. When she first arrived to us in 2023 as a 3 year old, she was not yet halter broke and we had started her groundwork/had her lunging in tack. She has always been such a fun and rewarding mare to work with and picks up quickly on what you are asking of her. She will require a refresher with groundwork and tack as it has been 2 years since she wore a saddle/was consistently worked with. Take her home and start her your way!
Potential: No limitations
Health/lameness: No known issues

Leads: Yes
Catch in pasture: Yes
Stands for farrier: Yes
Ties: Yes, but still in training.
