This nine-month-old, 30-pound Carolina/hound mix is the definition of a social sweetheart! She arrived at GLDR with her siblings Harriet and Martin and these deserving pups are ready to begin lives with loving families today!
Before coming to GLDR, Rosa and her siblings were in a fabulous foster home and we can't wait to share all we've learning about this terrific trio! Rosa is a confident girl who loves meeting new people and pups! She's a very smart girl who already knows how to sit and is capable of learning much more.
Rosa is crate-trained and is a fan of all sorts of treats! She's good on her leash and also rides well in the car. She's ready to join you on all of your adventures! Rosa prefers hard chew toys and her foster mom was able to take both food and toys away with no issue.
Rosa is a very tolerant and affectionate girl who gives great kisses! As she is still a young lady, she will benefit from continued training in her new home. She will thrive with daily exercise and a yard to enjoy. Hanging out with Rosa is always a blast and she'll have you grinning ear to ear everyday! After a fun-filled day and her fair share of zoomies, she sleeps quietly through the night, dreaming of her forever family.
Based on our evaluation, we feel Rosa will do best in an active home with adults or families with kids ages five and up. We feel she has the potential to live in a home with other animals and we are happy to do a meet and greet with your family fur baby.
If you think Rosa could be the girl for you, head to greatlakesdogrescue.com today and submit your application for the darling pup!
