My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweetness is a little shy with strangers but warms up quickly when she gets to know someone. She enjoys lounging in the screened area where she can watch everyone coming and going and enjoy the gentle Florida breeze.

Sweetness has a gentle personality, making her a comforting presence in almost any home. She is playful at times but also appreciates quiet moments and cozy naps. Her affectionate nature shines through once she feels comfortable, and she will often seek out a sunny spot for relaxation. She adapts well to calm environments and enjoys gentle attention from staff and volunteers.

She is good with other cats and would not mind sharing her home with another cat or two.

Why not complete an application today to make an appointment to meet this gentle kitty? If you are looking for a loyal and affectionate feline friend, Sweetness might just be the perfect addition to your family.

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
