Meet Broccoli! 💚 Located in Memphis, TN
Broccoli is a bright, goofy, eager-to-please young pup who has made a remarkably smooth transition into foster care. This boy is incredibly smart, very food-motivated, and loves learning. He mastered sit, down, shake, spin, and place (with an automatic down and an implied wait!) all within just a few days. With continued structure and positive reinforcement, Broccoli will thrive and make an amazing lifelong companion.

Broccoli has all the great basics down:

✔️ Plays well with other dogs
✔️ Perfect mix of puppy energy + cuddle bug

He does have some puppyish enthusiasm and loves to run, play, and investigate everything. Once he’s gotten his energy out, he’s a total snuggle buddy who would love nothing more than to curl up next to you on the couch. He also enjoys chew toys—especially the ones he can nibble or try to take apart!

Broccoli can become a bit overwhelmed in chaotic environments, especially with lots of guests or young children moving quickly around him. When he’s unsure, he may growl to communicate his discomfort. He does best in a calmer home where his signals are respected and where he can continue building confidence. He’s also still learning how to accept corrections from canine friends, but he’s making progress.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

• Current pets must be spayed/neutered, UTD on annual exams, heartworm tests, vaccines & consistent heartworm prevention.

2.
Interview

We will have a volunteer call personal and vet references. We will interview applicant if all information provided is accurate.

3.
Home Check

We do in home visit checks or via video chat. Video Chat If adopter lives out of our area, if a volunteer Is unavailable.

Or we help arrange private (or volunteer) transport for your pet if adopter isn’t in our local area.

Additional adoption info

We are all volunteers, but we try to have all applications processed in 7 business days.. If you are approved, then we will send you an adoption contract and transport information. Payment must be made once contract is finalized.
We try to answer all inquiries. If you are interested in a pet the best way to meet that pet is FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. Since we are all volunteers, applicants must be approved before a meet/greet.

Team Memphis Rescue & Support provides assistance to Team Memphis Rescue & Support approved rescues by transporting pets from shelters, boarding facilities, Veterinary clinics and foster homes. We help evaluate temperaments of pets and network to find foster homes. Animal Rescue is an ongoing battle. We are stronger when we stand together.
