Hi there, I’m Pablo! I’m a 4-year-old, 15-pound Chihuahua / Pug mix with a heart as big as my smile and a personality that fills the room. I’m playful, spunky, full of charm, and always ready to bring the fun!
I love people of all ages and enjoy being the center of attention. One minute I’m zooming around with my tongue out, and the next I’m flopped over for belly rubs. I adore playing tug or fetch with my plush toys and love having a small doggy playmate.
When I’m not busy being my silly self, I love nothing more than snuggling on the couch or curling up in bed with my people. Oh, and here’s something else great about me! Bath time and nail trims are a total breeze. You can give me a good scrub, trim my nails, even hold me like a baby while drying me, and I’ll just soak it all in like a pampered little prince. I'm not a chewer or destructive, and I'm ready to get this show on the road and find a forever family! East Coast people, inquire about me today.
* 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.

We are a small group devoted to saving dogs from the multitudes of high kill shelters in Texas, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina and California. We specialize in saving small to medium breed types and re-homing in the North East where there is less unwanted dog overflow and a high volume of qualified adopters.
