Meet Cowboy: The Little Legend Who Fought to Live 🐾
When we got the urgent call from a local vet clinic, we weren’t prepared for what we’d see. A tiny, 15–20 pound short-stack (we’re guessing a dachshund mix) covered head to toe in bite wounds—likely the result of a brutal coyote attack. Cowboy had clearly fought with everything he had to survive. And somehow, even while in excruciating pain, he was still wagging his tail and giving kisses to the vet techs trying to save him.
He had every reason to give up. But he didn’t.
Thanks to the Good Samaritan who found him and the compassionate team who called us instead of giving up hope, Cowboy got his second chance. And boy, did he run with it.
Today, Cowboy is fully healed and ready for his forever family. He’s:
