My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lillie Is Sweet As Chocolate!

Say hello to Lillie, a beautiful chocolate colored pup with soft ears and gentle eyes. She has that thoughtful look that makes you feel like she is quietly taking everything in and hoping someone will notice how special she is!

At 6 months old, Lillie is the perfect mix of playful and tender. She is ready for walks, backyard exploring, and quiet cuddle time once she has had her fun.

Lillie is waiting for a family who will give her the chance to feel safe, cherished, and truly at home.

Ready to make Lillie your new family member?

Submit an adoption application and be sure to ask for Lillie by name. This sweet girl is more than ready to start her happily ever after with you!

Additional adoption info

Thank you for visiting!

If interested in our adoptables please contact us at hopefultailsadoptions@outlook.com, and let us know who you're interested in meeting. You must fill out an adoption application if interested in adopting followed by an adoption contract.

All dogs require a $100 training deposit. Once confirmation of the completion of a training class has been sent to the rescue, you will receive your deposit back in full.

As we are a rescue all of our adult dogs/puppies for adoption must be spayed and neutered. Although we make every attempt to have this done before finding their adoptive families, this is not always possible. Please speak with your adoption coordinator to see of this service has already been performed or they will explain to you if your new dog/puppy will need this service while in your care at no cost to you.

When emailing please include your phone number to help speed up the adoption process. Also, for the safety of our dogs, we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Joliet, Illinois, to allow our volunteers to do home checks, if necessary.
