Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Let us introduce you to Nicki, a fun-loving girl who recently spent a week getting pampered by a fantastic foster family. This energetic pup is all about joy and adventure, and she’s ready to find her forever home! Nicki loves being part of the action and thrives on playtime. She uses gentle nips to engage—especially with children—and while she adores kids, she doesn’t always realize her own size, so a little continued training will help her fine-tune her manners. Supervision with little ones is recommended as she learns. With other dogs, Nicki is a star ?? She had a blast with a Lab and Boxer and was fascinated by a Yorkie, even if her enthusiasm caused a few accidental bumps. She was initially unsure about the cat ?? but warmed up with time and curiosity. Nicki is also quite the chatterbox, using playful barks and curious growls to announce surprises or alert her family. Once she settles in, she’s a total cuddlebug ??, loves to follow you around, and even tried to “help” wrap Christmas presents ?? by stealing a roll of wrapping paper! Like many young dogs, she’s still polishing her household manners—she’s working on potty training ?? and may need a little extra consistency, and while she might whine briefly in her crate, she settles with time. One great perk: Nicki isn’t a runner, so an open door or slipped leash doesn’t send her bolting. She’s truly a sweet, playful, and loving pup who will bring so much joy to her new family. And remember the 3-3-3 Rule when adopting a shelter pet: it often takes about 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to learn the routine, and 3 months to fully feel at home—Nicki will shine with time, patience, and love. ?? You may notice in her photos that she has some hair loss; she was diagnosed with Demodex, a non-contagious and easily treated skin condition. She’s already received medication for the mites and is on antibiotics for a mild skin infection, so she’s well on her way to recovery.A310820?? Age: 1 year?? Spayed Female?? 35.3 lbs — Her fee is WAIVED!!?????? As always, we recommend meet-and-greets with any resident dogs and children to ensure it’s a great fit for everyone. #adoptfromicas #myicasrescue
