My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet sweet boy Fonzi, a German Shepherd that was picked up as a stray by one of our officers and brought to the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 3/17. Fonzi weighs 77 pounds and is approx 3 years old and is neutered. He has a low-key chill personality and is a bit cautious, timid and shy. However, after spending time with volunteers during the photo session he became more comfortable and he warmed up. You can see from the pictures below that he is a-okay with receiving loving attention. He walked fine on a leash and when led by kennels of other dogs, he was non-reactive and even wagged his tail. His new family could let him watch the TV series `Happy Days` to introduce him to the character he was named after. He is an inquisitive fellow and spent a lot of time exploring and scouting out smells in the yard. He likes treats and takes them gently. This handsome calm and gentle boy would love to find his new forever home so if you could assist him it would be most appreciated.
