We saved this sweet girl and her sister Pepa from a rural shelter. They are looking for SEPARATE homes.
This chunk of a puppy is a huge love bug. Super sweet and easy going. A really nice and fairly easy puppy.
She is a female, approx 5 months old. She weighs 30 pounds but is very compact in size. She is a stocky and thick little lady!! We are not sure of the exact breed. She is solid built and best guess American Bully mix but we aren't sure. We do not think she is going to get much bigger.
She will be spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines as part of her adoption. She is heartworm negative (yes we tested her early) and she is on preventions. She came to us with flea bites all over her, ear infections and some skin issues. She is already being treated for all of those.
Pepa loves people especially men. She takes a short time to get used to other dogs but then loves play with them. She’s just shy at first.
She likes to follow you all around. Loves cuddles and being held. Very sweet girl. More playful than her sister. Doing better on the leash, not as scared as her sister. Very happy and loving puppy. She’s learned sit already.
Medium energy level currently. Playful but likes snuggling. She is very friendly with people and other dogs. A bit shy at first when meeting a new dog or person but that doesn't last long. She has not met any cats yet so we are unsure how she would do. She is very loving and gentle.
Pepa would likely do well with children. She is a bit nervous of them until she gets to know them. She has just not had much experience around them yet. Pepa did fine on car rides. She has not had much experience with leash training but is learning. She is still young but doing well with potty training once she learns your routine. She’s doing great with her crate training.
She has not had any trouble sharing food, treats or toys with other dogs or humans. She is in the chewing stage and learning what is a toy and what isn't. Pepa is a fairly relaxed puppy with spurts of playful energy.
She is at a great age where she is learning all of her manners but still young enough to mold well into your family.
If you want a scary looking pup that is nothing more than a mushy sweet heart then don't miss out on this super sweet girl!!
Adopting a young puppy is a ton of work. They will have lots of potty accidents, chew things up etc. You will need to help them learn things like leash walking, crate training and basic manners. It can be a lot of work but the reward is a dog that fits well into your family's lifestyle if you invest proper time on training with them. Please carefully consider the time and effort a puppy requires before adopting. Vet and home checks required.

Adopters are given a full week with the pet to make their final decision on adoption to ensure the home is the correct fit. We also take all animals back over their lifetime if adopters cant keep them
