Hi everyone! I’m Cody, a 2-year-old yellow lab mix ready to burst into your life with my youthful energy! I’m a very sweet, playful pup… and if you hadn’t noticed from my pictures, super handsome! I am a big boy weighing in at 90 lbs, but still happy to crawl up in your lap like a sweet little pup.
I am content during the day entertaining myself with toys while my foster family works from home, but always up for playing fetch, tug of war, running around with a four-legged buddy or going for a long walk through the neighborhood. I am also a big fan of hopping in the car and seeing where the next adventure lies.
I’m quick to make new friends with dogs and people, but I have a tendency to be a little over exuberant at first. I’m learning this “slow introduction” thing, but it’s a process. I’m just super excited to meet everyone and don’t realize my own size. I have not yet met any cats, so I’m probably best suited for a home without any feline siblings, or at least one that is dog savvy. I’m fully house trained, so no need to worry about any unwanted messes around the house. I’m also a world class napper and sleep quietly through the night.
I am up-to-date on all vaccines, neutered and microchipped.

Meet the Pet
If approved, you will be given the foster's contact info. WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS. You must come to Apex, NC (near Raleigh) to meet in person.

Sign Adoption Contract
If it's a match you can take your dog home that day. Our Adoption Fee is $375 and you must complete and sign our Adoption Agreement.
4.
Take the Pet Home
If you return the dog within 7 days of adoption you may receive a refund of $300. A $75 administrative fee is required to cover our costs.
Additional adoption info
You will receive the dog's Vet records via email 7-10 days after adoption. You will receive the dog's microchip info and rabies tag (if appropriate) via USPS about 2 weeks after adoption.
